Table tennis in the first"Penthouse Hall" in the world
In March 2019 we opened a high-performance training center in the city of Huancayo
in the peruvian andes. The center with up to 5 tables is due to its atmosphere, professionalism of the staff, first-class equipment, know-how and concept unique in Peru. The world's first “penthouse table tennis hall”, the academy and the registered club “Club de Tenis de Mesa Internacional TT-SCOUTING Peru“
are managed by the internationally licensed coach and table tennis player Ivan Santivañez Portocarrero, who has experience as a player in Germany, France and Switzerland. He is supported by his partner Katerina Rehorkova, herself a former Swiss Table Tennis National player and also a licenced coach, as well as a small team of assistant coaches.
Intercultural exchangein connection with table tennis
In 2016 we started our non-profit project «TT-SCOUTING» which focused on the support and development of socially disadvantaged table tennis talents from Peru and Latin America. Since March 2019 our small team of volunteers has been concentrating on a unique concept in table tennis - Intercultural Exchange.

With our project we address table tennis players who like to get to know other people and the wonderful culture of Peru through stays abroad, but do not want to neglect their favorite sport. We promote intercultural exchange in connection with table tennis between Peru, Germany and Switzerland. Our network is consistently growing therefore we hope to be adding more countries from Europe to our portfolio soon. The aim of this exchange is to help the personal and sporting development of young athletes in Peru. Children and adolescents are given the opportunity to practice their sport in a different way and at a much higher level, to get to know new cultures and languages, to find friends and maybe even travel across the Atlantic Ocean.
